The Foundation was born out of our belief that while success is a gift, it also creates an opportunity at a corporate level to give back to those in need, in our local communities, and to those in need around the world.
As global citizens, it is important for each of us to model for others what it looks like to give of our resources. It is our desire to not only model corporate responsibility but also to inspire others to give at an individual level.
There is no better way to catch the vision of HOPE International than to see firsthand how lives are being changed. This year five members of our SageView Team had the opportunity to see microenterprise development from the eyes of clients, local staff and church leaders.
“We were able to see and experience things that we otherwise would never have had the chance to do on our own. It definitely reminds you to appreciate everything we have been given so easily. I hope our visit made a difference in the lives of the people we met also. I hope they know that people care enough to want to meet them and see them succeed. One thing that I will always remember from the trip was hearing Luis start our visit by saying, “I may be poor in money, but I am rich in the Lord.” We can all learn from him.
It was a great trip and a good reminder of the different ways we are all blessed, and not to mention a good bonding experience for us SageView folks. I lost count of the number of times that I probably fell asleep on the bus as we were driving around; that hot weather necessitates frequent siestas! – Todd Stewart
“It was also definitely great to be able to spend time with the group and get to know each other. We will need to have a reunion! I know I am very fortunate to be a part of SageView, and I’m thankful to get to work with such wonderful caring people” Cathy Christ
